Project Coordinator

Location:
Hanau, Germany

The deugro group is a globally active company serving the project logistics industry.

Counting 1,200 employees worldwide in more than 40 countries, we are a true global network of logistics experts—for road and rail, ocean and air freight.

We set the courses of tomorrow—today.

deugro is the first company of the deugro group.

Since 1924, it has been the main business of the international project logistics company, founded in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Every day, we face all the challenges of the logistics industry.

Here is where employees like to keep on eye on really big objects while keeping a cool head—enabling us to come up with alternatives when the conventional path from A to B does not work.

Become a part of our international Operations team at one of our locations in Hanau, Germany. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime (40h/week) as Project Coordinator

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Taking responsibility for the handling of global shipments (e.g. intermodal transport with a focus on ocean freight)
  • Communication with all stakeholders in the logistics industry, e.g. freight carriers, shipping companies, agents or brokers, clients and deugro's own offices worldwide
  • Independent disposition and handling of tasks within the global project and factory plant business (incl. heavy units and overdimensional loads), as well as the organization of standard container transports (FCL/LCL), precarriages, etc.
  • Fixedrate purchases and the drawing up of bids, as well as the businessbased steering and control of individual shipments or entire projects
  • Close collaboration with Sales, Project Management and global support functions such as Chartering, Transport Engineering, Tender Management, FCL Procurement, QHSES and Compliance
  • Supporting colleagues and taking charge of general administrative tasks such as generating invoices, track and trace, and KPI reporting

Your contribution:

  • Successful completion of training to become a qualified Logistics Manager
  • Initial work experience, which has been gained in the areas of transportation and logistics
  • Ideally, knowledge of international logistics, e.g. ocean freight and/or project logistics
  • A team player attitude with a distinct handson mentality
  • A structured way of working that enables you to successfully handle deadlines and a full calendar
  • Motivation and enjoyment in facing new challenges
  • Good English skills and intercultural competence for confidently working on an international stage

What we offer you:

A family-owned and run company, deugro group has been active in the project logistics industry for nearly 100 years.

With our sights continuously on the future, we are a prosperous company offering you a long-term perspective for your professional career.

What's more, you benefit from an attractive salary and a modern workplace, with the option to work remotely—ensuring flexible working hours and individual development opportunities.

We want to work with people who not only bring the right résumé/CV, but who also pursue their ideas with passion and put them into action with commitment.
