The following challenges await you:

In your role as a researcher you lead projects for new and further development of gas discharge lamps in the field of analytical light sources.
You plan and carry out the necessary experiments and test series.
You identify complex, technically relevant problems and their root cause. Subsequently, you present a suitable solution.
You participate in scientific and technical discussions and the definition of basic development priorities.
Furthermore, you support product introductions, improvements of manufacturing processes and elimination of process errors.
Moreover you support our sales department on technical topics.
You represent business unit interests at national and international events by means of publications and presentations. Furthermore, you promote networking to institutes and universities.

Your Profile:

University degree in physic or related fields, PhD is preferred
Ideally professional experience in the field of research or product development
Experience in the field of UV gas discharge lamps, plasma physics and UV radiation interaction
Knowledge in the field of optical measurement technology, especially in the UV spectral range highly appreciated
Experience in project management
Basic knowledge in electrical engineering is desirable
Thorough knowledge of MS Office products
Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent organizational skills, independent and reliable work methodology
Customeroriented and team player
