- Central contact person and administrator for all EDGE devices within the company
- Installation, configuration and maintenance as well as spare parts management from ordering to installation
- Configuration of the current alarm and operational monitoring interfaces to controllers (DCS, S7, ...) using OPC-UA/DA, Modbus, REST, MQTT/ Kafka Brokers, as well as their ongoing further development
- Installation and configuration of applications in Docker containers
- Supporting the network integration of edge devices into the respective local OT network infrastructure
- Maintenance of the task backlog and documentation
- Contact person for PoCs in the edge device environment and collaboration on projects
- Completed training with relevant further training or a degree in the field of electrical engineering or computer science
- (Several years) experience with internet-enabled components, industrial PCs, embedded PCs, LTE routers, etc.
- In-depth understanding of the integration of components in network architectures and their protocols
- Good experience in system design for the interaction of sensor technology, evaluation, algorithms, processing and visualisation
- Up-to-date knowledge of operating systems, experience with Docker containers, preferably also basic knowledge of programming and experienced use of all common IT tools such as MS 365, Jira
- Team player with a strong hands-on mentality and willingness to work on site (POC, rollout)
- Good to very good proficiency in German and English
