The position is funded by a DFG research project in coding theory and is intended to provide further academic qualification in the context of a doctorate.

Your tasks

Your job tasks include:

Research in the area of coding theory
Presentation of research results in talks and publications

Profile:

For being part of the selection process is needed:

University degree (Master of Science or comparable degree) in Mathematics

- good English language skills

Following competences are desirable:

- high motivation to learn and explore new topics
- in-depth knowledge in Algebra and Discreter Mathematics
