RESPONSIBILITIES

:

-
Responsible for Compliance of all Collins Interiors support teams at aircraft manufacturer sites.

:

-
Establishing and maintaining an AS9100 compliant QMS process infrastructure, working with other departments, functions, and businesses as needed to ensure and maintain overall compliance.

:

-
Act as internal consultant for AS9100/QMS questions, issues, and concerns.

:

-
Conduct and/or lead the Internal Quality Audit for the FAL Support, both Collins and sub-contracted suppliers, with reference to AS9100, Collins and aircraft manufacturer requirements.

:

Manage and coordinate 2nd and 3rd party audits.

:

-
Manage audit findings and implement Corrective Action Plans & Preventive Action

:

Conducts training related to AS9100, Collins, OEM requirements and required procedures.

:

-
Identifies and prevents process and product risks.

:

-
Maintain and ensure validity of QMS system. Identify gaps and close with containment, corrective, and preventive actions.

:

-
Control and maintain the skill matrix for all Global FAL support teams. Identifies and communicate skill gaps to the responsible business leaders.

Performs other duties as required to develop and drive the business forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

:

-
Bachelor's degree in engineering/quality management.

:

-
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing industry preferably with Quality, Engineering or Production.

:

-
With knowledge and experience in the implementation of Quality Systems standards like AS9100.

:

-
With knowledge and experience in the use of Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement tools and techniques.

:

-
Strong analytical skills.

:

-
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.

:

-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

:

-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

-
Proven skills in the areas of initiative, individual leadership, teamwork, collaboration and facilitation
