Summary

This job is responsible for global order processing for medical products and spare parts, including monitoring of delivery dates and preparation of offers.

Primary Responsibilities

International order processing (quotes, orders, deliveries, invoicing, credits) of medical devices and spare parts ensuring order fulfillment according to customer requirements.
Proactive coordination of orders with planners and logistics, ensuring goods are delivered on time and to identify and help solve bottlenecks in production or shipping.
Commercial handling of repairs and returns including preparation of cost estimates and substitute deliveries
Check of the shipping and delivery processing in compliance with the respective national regulations as well as the import provisions for returns and repair shipments.
Invoicing incl. creation and processing of required export documents
Sales support tasks, consulting on the telephone and written form of both jobrelated and productrelated as well as technical questions in close cooperation with sales and product management
Ensure strict compliance with export, tax and hazardous goods regulations.

General Tasks

Broad knowledge of the main processes in Order Fulfillment and related departments interacting in a manufacturing plant.
Central control function in the value creation process as a crossdepartmental link to product management, purchasing, shipping, production control in many areas that do not belong to order processing, but are relevant to the execution of orders or to answer customer concerns.
Close cooperation with sales in all questions of customer service, pricing, mailings
Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations
Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for result of his/her tasks.
Ability to largely familiarize himself/herself independently with the area of responsibility due to his/her methodological knowledge and professional experience (apart from organizational training)
Acts as Mentor for Junior/Professionals and is required to train others.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

Specialized experience within Order Fulfillment in a manufacturing company. Typically acquired through 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
Requires a considerable amount of analysis. Although the problems are complex, they have been stated and defined. Information to solve the problems may need to be gathered from a variety of sources.
Problem solving requires some diagnosis and interpretation of information which may be conflicting or ambiguous. Acts as advisor to others.
Very good MS Office knowledge as well as SAP and / or Oracle experience
Excellent knowledge of English in oral and written form; able to actively participate in discussions, meetings or phone calls internally and externally; able to comprehend and explain complex technical and/or commercial contexts.
