Was Sie erwartet:

Perform research in the fields of anthropogenic materials in the environment, transformation processes, water quality, environmental analysis and environmental monitoring, environmental forensics
Development of your own research topics in the fields
Career development with a focus on research including grant writing
Contribute to ongoing research projects and prepare project meetings, presentation of project results, project management
Collaborate with project partners and contribute to project reporting
Write publications for peerreviewed scientific journals about your results and present them at international conferences
Communicate and disseminate research results to diverse stakeholders e.g. private sector, public sector, students, civil society.
Responsibility for laboratory infrastructure and analytical instrumentation

Was Sie mitbringen:

A PhD in analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, environmental sciences, geoecology or related field
Knowledge and experiences in at least two topics: inorganic mass spectrometry, organic mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, gas chromatography
Experiences in environmental sampling and sample preparation
Experiences in online water monitoring
Scientific background in anthropogenic materials and/or substance cycles
Coding skills in R and/or Python
Proven skills in writing reports and scientific peerreviewed publications
High degree of organisation and ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills (English required, German required
