Beschreibung

Duties:


  • Assists in the administering of personnel security actions for the Command.
  • Presents initial security briefings to all incoming HQ staff personnel.
  • Monitors unit personnel and information security programs to include conducting security violation investigations.
  • Assists with physical security and TEMPEST countermeasures for collateral facilities.
  • Assists with the establishment of new SCI facilities.
  • Provides and assists with security education and awareness programs and training.
  • Serves as the unit Assistant Security Manager and Assistant Special Security Officer (SSO) for the 7th Army Training Command G
  • Assists with administration, operation, and technical support within the G2.

Conditions of Employment:


  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Tier 5 (or equivalent) investigation.
  • Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience with Personnel Security and/or Information Security; also includes experience managing access to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS09). Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligencerelated security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.

Please Note- If an employee brings a child to an overseas location and that child is entitled to attend a DoD school on a space-required basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation , the DoDEA and the Military Department responsible for providing related services will ensure that the child, if eligible for special education, receives a free appropriate public education, including related services pursuant to DoDI and DoDM

  • If an employee brings an infant or toddler (up to 3 years of age) to an overseas location, and that infant or toddler, but for the child's age, is entitled to attend the DoDEA on a spacerequired basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation , then the Military Department responsible for Early Intervention Services (EIS) will provide the infant or toddler with the required EIS in accordance with the eligibility criteria consistent with DoDI and DoDM
  • Employees (and family members) who require medical or dental care in the overseas location will be responsible for obtaining and paying for such care. Access for civilian employees and their families to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a spaceavailable and reimbursable basis only.
