    THE ROLE

    In your role as a Senior Platform Engineer (all genders), you will help build and scale the cloud platform Cobrainer runs on. You will do so across multiple (micro-)services running on different Container Orchestration Platforms and other AWS services, helping your fellow engineers innovate and be productive while having fun shaping the future of our AI-based skills platform. You'll get to sharpen your skills on the latest tech stack in the areas of DevOps tooling, CI/CD, Containerization, Orchestration, and Cloud Infrastructure as Code.

    IN THIS ROLE

    • Responsible for building and operating a highly available Microservices Cloud platform utilizing mostly AWS ECS.
    • Developing and improving solutions for product development teams that empower them to deploy cloud resources quickly and with confidence.
    • Implement and constantly evaluate best security practices across our platform and services running on it.
    • Establish best practices and build tools to drive the use of CI/CD and the adoption of platform components by our engineering teams.
    • Automate and optimize operational tasks and infrastructure as code.
    • Monitor and manage our environments by integrating telemetry and observability into the platform.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

    • You're an experienced engineer who has worked in either a Platform, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer role for multiple years.
    • Extensive experience with AWS cloud provider. Experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
    • Extensive experience in using the Infrastructure as code approach, particularly with Terraform, is a must-have qualification
    • Experience in building and operating Kubernetes clusters is a plus.
    • Open-minded personality, comfortable working in an Agile environment and making decisions in a collaborative way.
    • Fluent English communication skills.
