    Ab Oktober 2024 bieten wir in Dresden einige Stellen für ein

    Praktikum: Wireless Communications Engineering

    Mobilfunknetze der nächsten Generation müssen hohe Anforderungen in Bezug auf Signalqualität, Sensitivität und dynamische Umschaltvorgänge erfüllen. Diese Parameter sind selten über einfache HF-Tests zu ermitteln. Aus diesem Grund entwickelt NI anspruchsvolle Hard- und Software für das Testen und Messen zukünftiger 5G- und 6G-Kommunikationssysteme.

    Während Deines Praktikums wirst Du Teil eines unserer Produktentwicklungs- oder Forschungsteams und trägst zum Projekterfolg bei. Wir bieten ein sehr breites Spektrum an Aufgaben, an denen Du arbeiten kannst. Bitte suche eine davon aus, die Dich am meisten anspricht, je nach Deinem Hintergrund, Deinen Fähigkeiten und Zielen:

    Aufgaben in der Forschung

    • Prototyping von 6G-Mobilfunksystemen mit Schwerpunkt auf Machine Learning
    • Prototyping von dezentralen Test- und Messanwendungen mit Cloud-Technologien
    • Prototyping und Testen von Vollduplex-Kommunikation (Full Duplex) und Joint Communication and Sensing (JC&S)

    Aufgaben in der Produktentwicklung

    • Treiber-Entwicklung für unsere Software Defined Radios (USRPs)
    • Testentwicklung für den 3GPP 5G NR-Mobilfunkstandard
    • Entwicklung von RF-Messungen für Hardwarekomponenten
    • Unterstützung der Hardware-Entwicklung auf Board-Ebene für RF-Produkte
    • Prototypen-Toolflow für Augmented-Reality-gestütztes Hardware-Board-Debugging
    • HDL-Design im Bereich der Kommunikation oder des Radars

    Deine Qualifikationen

    Grundvoraussetzungen:

    • Student (m/w/d) der Elektrotechnik, Informationssystemtechnik oder Informatik
    • Erfahrung mit mindestens einem der folgenden Programmiertools:
      • Python
      • C / C++ / C# / .NET
      • SystemVerilog / VHDL
    • Grundkenntnisse in digitaler Signalverarbeitung (z. B. OFDM) oder HF-Technik (d.h. HF-Parameter und/oder Messungen) oder der Client/Server- und Web-Technologie
    • Interesse am praktischen Experimentieren und Prototyping
    • Interesse daran, etwas Neues zu lernen
    • Fließende Deutsch- oder Englischkenntnisse
    • Pflichtpraktikum (Dauer: idealerweise 6 Monate)

    Erfolgsfaktoren (je nach Aufgabe):

    • Grundkenntnisse im Umgang mit Linux und Kommandozeile
    • Erfahrung mit SDR, UHD, GNU-Radio
    • Grundlagen von Machine Learning
    • Erfahrung mit dem Versionskontrollsystem Git
    • Erfahrung im praktischen Umgang mit Messinstrumenten (z.B. Signal Analyzer, Oszilloskop)
    • Entwicklung eines eigenen "Designs" auf FPGA / CPLD
