We are looking for a working student to support our Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics Team.

The Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics Team is responsible for an aerodynamic optimization of the aircraft throughout its life cycle - from the concept phase through detailed design, simulation and testing to serial production.

As a working student in the Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics Team, you will work on specific R&D topics and thus contribute to the development and ultimate success of our product.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Multifidelity data generation of aerodynamic and thermodynamic data
Determination of static and dynamic aerodynamic coefficients
Investigation of thermodynamic loads of components
Mesh generation and mesh sensitivity studies
Postprocessing of simulation data
Documentation of the studies

YOUR PROFILE
you should

Be an enrolled student (M/F/d) in a technical course, such as Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with focus on aerodynamics
Have good understanding and interest in aerodynamics and computational fluid dynamics
Have basic knowledge of a CFD software (Ansys Fluent preferred)
Have basic aerodynamic hand calculations
Have basic knowledge in a programming language (Python, Matlab and C++ are preferred)
