Your tasks:

To support our ambitious growth we are looking for a motivated Transport Planner (M/F/d) to join our operations department in Berlin.

Previous knowledge in logistics and dispatching is required.

We are specifically looking for engaged and motivated individuals who are ready to go above and beyond to bring their (and our) expertise on the road.

As a Transport Manager, you will play a central role in improving our clients' experiences and driving our company's success by overseeing the purchase of transport capacity, supervising individual transports, and ensuring smooth processes, you will be responsibile for the following tasks:

You will be responsible for the dispatching of spot orders
You will negotiate prices with freight forwarders and carriers in daily business
You will monitor the transport
You will be an interface to the customer
You will ensure smooth processes in dispatching
You will identify and develop business needs of new and existing transport partners

Your Profile:

You have a degree in a relevant academic studies or a completed commercial training
You already have operating experience in dispatching, transport operations with focus on national and international overland transportation (FTL and LTL)
You have strong knowledge about the German logistics market, preferably also in the area of swap body and linehaul transportation
You speak German and English fluently
You demonstrate a customeroriented and solutionoriented working style
You are a teamplayer, flexible, a strong communicator and are skilled in negotiation
You show affinity to working with digital platforms and tools
