You'll join more than 5,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem.

YOUR TEAM:


As an intern in the domain "Intelligent Cockpit & Body" you will be part of creating one future cross-brand, standardized infotainment and body platform for the Volkswagen Group.

Augmented reality plays a major role in User Experience by highlighting what matters and adding useful hints. There are many more features waiting to be enabled.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Contribute in a reference sensory project (Python development), i.e. working with cameras and trace tooling
  • Support bringup activities by deploying your tooling in next generation vehicle projects
  • Communicate with colleagues, partners and suppliers to gain an understanding of our development at CARIAD in a large enterprise project
  • Be creative and introduce your own ideas, which contribute to our goals and match your skills and interests

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Enrolled student in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable studies
  • Programming skills (Python, C++)
  • Knowledge in the field of computer vision, game development or augmented reality is a plus
  • Experience in hardware related projects (e.g. Arduino, Jetson) is a plus
  • Structured way of working as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
