Your mission:

Wandelbots develops an easy to use software platform that enables its users to control any robot.

As part of our motion control team you will help us tackle the exciting challenges we face on this mission.

You will make every robot move smoothly and precisely, and your algorithms assist our users in quickly generating executable robot programs.

You will solve algorithm, code or process related challenges to support the team and learn as much as possible along the way.

Responsibilities depending on your skill set and our current challenges:

Extend our tooling in the fields of data analysis and robotics
Log data analysis
Bug reproduction
Automatic Python wrapper generation for C++ libraries
Work on an algorithmic challenge like
Motion planning (e.g. timeoptimal)
Dynamic modeling and identification
Generic inverse kinematics
Collision avoidance
Path optimization
Analyze the behavior of robot controllers

Your profile:

You are studying robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, computer science, or any related topics
You understand at least the basics of manipulator robotic
You have strong Python or C++ skills
You should be driven to learn new things and tackle challenges independently, soliciting help from others when beneficial
You are fluent in English or German
You are able to work in Dresden for at least 20 hours/ week (ideally 40 hours in the context of the compulsory internship / preparation of the Master Thesis)
