For our annual English language immersion summer camp for children between 4 -12 years of age, we are looking to hire:
Summer Camp Instructors

Starting End of June 2023. This Position is until End of August 2023.

The Summer Camp Instructor provides care, supervision, and program facilitation for their assigned campers in each weekly session.

The Summer Camp Instructor is responsible for the general welfare and safety of participants as well as leading engaging recreational programming as needed.


Job Functions and Requirements:

May require working in an outdoor environment

Essential Job Functions:
Ability to assist the Lead Instructor and Director with the oversight of summer program activities, and field trips
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and children's needs.
Have a genuine interest in the development of youth

Make sure all equipment and supplies are ready and set-up for activities in advance and that it is properly cleaned up and stored at the conclusion of the activity or day.

Assist Lead Instructor and Specialist Instructor with organizing and monitoring day camp programs to ensure maximum participation and enjoyment from campers
Maintain children's schedule and assist in leading recreational activities
Health insurance
High energy, self-starter with positive outlook and flexibility
Experience and/or desire to work with children and youth in a camp setting
Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
CPR & First Aid or ability to obtain training
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of children and young people
Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
Value and respects the views and needs of children and young people

Additional experience considered an asset:
Camp experience
Experience working with children and/or in a diverse, multicultural environment
Second language, preferably German

ISS is looking to hire a part-time (28h/week) Athletic Director Assistant

Starting in as soon as possible. This Position is initially for two years.

The Athletic Director Assistant will work directly with the Athletic Director and the After School Activities Program (ASAP) Manager. The Assistant will be a part of the Office Assistant group.

Due to the nature of the position, hours during the work week will be flexible and there are evening and weekend commitments.


Specific responsibilities include:


  • ASAP supervision attendance
  • General secretarial tasks in support of the Athletic Director and ASAP Manager
  • GISST (German International School Sports Tournament), ASAP and Sportverein support
  • Whole School Calendar Coordination
  • GISST travel management
  • Online registration and payment
- have a formal training e.g. Kaufmann/-frau für Bürokommunikation, Fremdsprachenkorrespondent/in or similar
- be fluent in English and German - oral and in writing
- have excellent organizational skills and a structured and goal oriented work style
- have excellent computer skills (MS Office tools)
