Are you in?
Become our R&D line manager to lead the Digital Radio Design Team and strengthen our presence at Rosenheim, Germany.

We are working on all horizons:
from the device technology to the package implementation, from novel designs and architectures to the end module prototype.

As line manager you will have a wide focus, always striving to think ahead and provide holistic problem solving to digital radio design and architecture challenges.

You as manager, next to management duties, will also work on developing strategies, collaborate closely with other relevant R&D organizations within Ericsson and develop the digital radio design team in Rosenheim.

In this role, you will mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations.


What you will do

  • Build up, lead, mentor and manage a team of digital radio designers
  • Encourage collaboration with digital radio design organizations at other R&D sites and build a strong community for your area of responsibility
  • Closely cooperate with program leaders and technical coordinators
  • Drive and promote improvements and technology leadership in digital radio domain for Ericsson's future radio systems
  • Promote and incubate new ideas as well as R&D wide transformation initiatives to support the future business
  • Be part of a highly diverse team with varied strengths and take part in all kinds of activities that come with the role

You will bring

  • A PhD, University or Master's degree in electronics, engineering, physics or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong professional background as R&D manager, R&D project manager or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of complex radio architectures and technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork, collaboration and the greater good in mind
  • A great interest to mentor and to make the team perform at its best
  • A curious attitude and dare to try out ideas
  • Strong change management capabilities
  • Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken
