    We seek a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join a wonderful gaming team, contributing to the design, construction, and scalability of the architecture of a successful mobile open-world MMORPG game.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of artists, designers, and programmers to integrate new gameplay features.
    • Develop robust, maintainable, and bug-free code.
    • Address complex technical challenges.
    • Liaise with designers and QA to ensure optimal and bug-free solutions.
    • Identify and address technical and developmental risks.
    • Foster knowledge sharing and mentorship within a cooperative, cross-disciplinary, and remote team setting.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of gaming experience, ideally in MMORPG backend environments.
    • Proficiency in object-oriented languages like C#, Java, or C++.
    • Strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
    • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
    • Knowledge of code refactoring and optimization techniques.
    • Understanding of secure coding practices.
    • Experience with performance profiling and application tuning.
    • Familiarity with game programming techniques and client/server communication.
    • Database management expertise.
    • Windows .NET Framework proficiency.
    • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and server management.
    • Demonstrated independence and accountability.
    • Excellent English communication skills.
    • Experience with Unity is a plus.
