Backend Engineer

Location: Berlin + Remote Options

Salary: Up to €80,000 per annum

Start Date: ASAP

What you will be doing:

Working closely with frontend and product on the platform for over 40 million users per month.
Plan data models and architecture and execute new features from beginning to end.
Collaborating closely with their infrastructure team in building highly available and reliable services.
Care for tooling, metrics and other solutions to hold up our content quality to the highest standards.
Writing, extending and debugging microservices for both existing and planned features

What they need from you:

Experience working within Golang OR just strong interest to use Golang
Strong experience in a Backend Engineering role.
Skills around the Linux command line including basic networking and web technologies
General knowledge and experience with relational databases.
Bonus points for familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, Prometheus/Grafana, GCP, Postgres, Cassandra or ElasticSearch.
