This position may be located in Europe or the United States.


This position will be located at our facility in Bavaria, Germany, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to Global leadership team and other senior leaders by understanding business needs and external practices to align and develop the organization and frame strategic choices
  • Influence/challenge, educate and coach broad leaders regarding team effectiveness, organizational development, change management, and build leadership capabilities
  • Establish and manage organization structure and operating models and functionally lead internal/external HR resources and partners to drive effectiveness, efficiency, agility, growth, and outcomes
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on effectiveness, continuous learning and improving enduser experience of all relevant HR processes
  • Build a culture of focus on outcomes, performance and great Associate experience, while attracting, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Lead with the business in mind elevating the experience of HR so that the function is viewed as a true business partner
  • Utilize data for metrics and as a primary source for decisionmaking and developing business insights
  • Drive the right outcomes with agile and inclusive talent management and performance activities
  • Identify the need for change and lead the implementation and adaptation to new or changing organizational structures and capabilities
  • Provide leadership to HR regional partners working for the Specialty Group

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (focus on HR, Business, Organizational Effectiveness, or related field preferred) or equivalent demonstrated experience relative to the role expectations and a minimum 10 years of progressive professional Human Resources experience
  • Have a track record of success and outcomeoriented results with the capability to balance all stakeholders (customers, Associates, shareholders)
  • Proven leader able to operate on a global basis, with success in driving transformation and change
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and metricsdriven executive, with strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong business acumen and learning agility to quickly comprehend Gore's business models, technologies, products, services, solutions offered, and strategic growth plans
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong personal organization and prioritization skills; ability to successfully manage large, complex projects from inception to conclusion, involving diverse, crossfunctional teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to value of diverse and inclusive workforces and equity in processes
  • Possesses strong organization and project planning skills able to juggle multiple priorities with an orientation for continuous improvement and streamlining processes
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

Desired Qualifications:


  • Experience building and managing HR policy, systems, and organizations in a startup environment or high growth global business
