Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineering

The Role:

You should have a minimum of 6 years of experience operating PostgreSQL at scale. Azure experience is strongly preferred.

The qualifications you need:

Database Administrator Responsibilities:

Enhance and perform monitoring for the fleet to ensure smooth operation
Work closely with Azure support
Perform debugging on PostgreSql system issues, for example, vacuum performance
Document processes related to database management, configuration and maintenance
Keep the fleet up to date with latest PostgreSql versions

Database Administrator Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or similar
Indepth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and SQL statement performance tuning
A minimum of 6 years handson experience in PostgreSql database operations
Sound knowledge of best practices in database administration and modeling and data security
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Exceptional problemsolving and critical thinking skills
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
