Duties:


Basic Function of the Position:


Subject position manages the property section and unclassified mailroom operation at the American Consulate General under the supervision of the General Services Specialist.

The duties assigned to the position revolve around managing make readies of residences; property functions such as warehousing, receiving, disposals, local and US mail; and pouch shipments and expendable supplies.

Maintains inventories, performs housing check-ins and check-outs for all USDH at Post, designated Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for service contracts up to 200,000.00 USD.

Incumbent maintains a total inventory of assets in the amount of 4-5 million USD. Supervises one warehouse man, one supply clerk, one receiving clerk and one mail clerk. Supervises up to 8 contract personnel.


Qualifications and Evaluations:

EXPERIENCE:

Three (3) years warehousing/logistics management are required.

  • Education Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School is required.

  • Evaluations:

English:
Level IV (fluent) / German: Level III (good working knowledge) is required.

  • Must possess driver's license class B
