Then Ansbach University of Applied Sciences offers you a new career path with a junior professorship in the doctoral model, at the end of which you will ideally have acquired the qualification for a professorship at an UAS - in this model the DOCTORATE DEGREE.

Your duties include


At Ansbach University:


  • Taking over teaching responsibilities for 4 semester hours per week in the field of AIsupported innovation management, and willingness to teach courses in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, as well as in programming.
  • Proactive acquisition of thirdparty funding through research and transfer activities
  • Highquality supervision of practical assignments, Bachelor's and Master's theses as well as doctorates
  • Involvement in setting up new international partnerships and maintaining existing ones
  • Active and interdisciplinary involvement in administering academic affairs

At ITONICS (20 hours per week):


  • Participation in the applied research project "Innovation Ecosystems"
  • Goal: AIsupported identification of new technologies (Technology Scouting), companies (Stakeholder Analysis), and other environmental influences in highly dynamic markets (Understanding Innovation Ecosystems). Systematic coordination and collaboration with various stakeholders within the innovation ecosystem, to successfully introduce technological innovations to the market (Placing innovations within the ecosystem).
You offer

  • Indepth practical knowledge in the use of innovation management software
  • Knowledge in the field of applied artificial intelligence
  • Knowledge of the analysis of ecosystems is desirable
  • Initial experience in the academic world (e.g. publications, research proposals, acquisition of thirdparty funding)
  • Very good German and English proficiency and ability and willingness to teach in German and in English
  • Enthusiasm for passing on your practical experience in teaching applied research to our students as future academics
