YOUR TEAM:

Our team is responsible for HR Operations & Payroll. The work here is organized in agile product teams in order to offer flexible and customer-oriented services.

Our team consists of both, technical and functional specialists to provide highly efficient solutions for our customers in the domain and CARIAD overall.


Our mission is to provide more time for coding for our developers by aligning digital HR solutions and HR processes within CARIAD and its global subsidiaries: to enable data-based HR decisions through optimized data solutions and by pushing for data-driven decisions.

To harmonize the HR systems landscape by reducing its complexity with SAP solutions and other tech tools embedded in a cloud eco-system.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Lead the payroll team with professional and technical expertise
  • Foster technicalskillset growth of team members
  • Establish a payroll center, collaborating with experts in SAP HCM (PA/PT/PY), payroll accounting, and time management
  • Manage payroll accounting (overriding responsibility) and time management for a large team of approximately 6,000 employees
  • Oversee the operations of the payroll provider
  • Improve and automate local and global payroll processes, including the integration of subsidiaries into the payroll system
  • Ensure implementation and compliance with legal, collective bargaining, company constitution provisions, and other rules and regulations in payroll accounting
  • Coordinate remuneration scopes with HR business partners and HR governance
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders across departments (employees, HR, managers, works council, etc.).

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Degree in Economics, Business Management or an equivalent; alternatively a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in operational payroll accounting
  • Experience in managing service providers, ideally in the area of payroll accounting
  • Expert knowledge of income tax and social security law
  • Very good knowledge of handling SAP HCM (PA/PT/PY)
  • Structured and analytical approach to work as well as a strong affinity for numbers
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German
