Make an impact:


As Lead Digital Solutions you are responsible for the design and execution of an affiliate-wide omni-channel engagement strategy including co-ordination of any digital solution our German affiliate.

Focus area are our local digital marketing activities supporting our brand
- and infield teams with their advance customer engagement. In your role you are closely collaborating within our international technology organization, Business Technology Solutions, and enabling high technology standards in line with our security and IT standards.


This means:


  • Supervise your team of 3 experts to successfully deliver digital projects, often with high complexity, in line with global and local strategies to meet agreed requirements and timescales.
  • Consulting your stakeholders about existing and new digital technologies.
  • Understanding requirements and needs of our AbbVie brand teams and supporting them with our digital solutions.
  • Participating strategic and tactical planning and localization of our international omnichannel approach.
  • Ensuring projects and processes being in line with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.
  • Coordinate close collaboration with international functions.
  • Managing external vendors and budget.
  • Authoring key areas of our longterm digital strategy supporting AbbVie's advanced customer engagement process and other brand requirements.
  • End to end responsibility for digital channel provision including technical documentation.

This is how you can make a difference:

  • Successfully completed studies in business or media informatics, engineering, business administration with a technical specialisation or comparable orientation.
  • Experience in leadership to support your team in incorporating the design, code, test defect resolution and operational readiness, and includes setting the standards for these activities.
  • Strongly experienced in consulting and implementation of international IT projects focussing on Digital Marketing (Omnichannel Management, Web Content Management, remote engagement, virtual events, mass mailing, SEM, Social Media Marketing, Web and Mobile Solutions, and analytics).
  • Substantial experience of working with and leading intensive projects is required.
  • Experience of supervision of different technology platforms.
  • Experience of leading the development and maintenance of substantial components for digital solutions, taking responsibility for nonfunctional needs such as robustness, performance, and security.
  • Passion for high technology and secure IT standards.
  • Tenacity, Enthusiasm, and a teammindset in a more experienced capacity. Effective crossfunctional and crosscountry engagement skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German
