Beschreibung
The Chair of Microsystems Technology at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is looking for a

research assistant / PhD Student (m, f, x) in microsystems technology for 3 years with 39,83 hours per week, TV-L E13:
The DFG Priority Program KOMMMA (Cooperative Multistage Multistable Microactuator Systems) addresses cooperating microactuators in a system. Our project on adaptive optics seeks to realize an optical zoom system based on actuated droplets of optical liquids.
The innovative approach is based on the actuation of optical fluids in a spatial matrix by using electrostatic fields.

For this, state-of-the-art concepts from digital microfluidics, Si-based MEMS-technology and atomic layer deposition (ALD) have to be combined in a spatial realizsation.

The work includes simulation, design, fabrication and testing of the system in cooperation with our partner from Augsburg University who develops the control strategies.

The international project team of the priority program enables an intensive cooperation with all projects of the program.
This research topic provides the opportunity to derive a doctoral degree.
