Responsibilities:


  • Lead in the development and deployment of novel and existing statistical solutions for biological data
  • Handle a wide variety of largescale omics and imaging data types and formats
  • Participate in the analysis and integration of diverse datasets (e.g., singlecell genomics, proteomics and advanced highthroughput fluorescent microscopy)
  • Supervision of students
  • Contribute to manuscript drafting
  • Communicate effectively with people of different horizons (external partners, scientific staff, IT personnel and management)
Your qualifications

  • PhD in statistical genetics/ mathematics/ bioinformatics/ computational biology or related field
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Advanced experience in engineering and deployment of machine learning models, preferably in the field of computer vision or drug discovery
  • Experience in singlecell transcriptomics analysis
  • Passion for science, innovation and creative and independent work
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient English language skills (both written and spoken)
Desired qualifications

  • A very good publication record
  • Experience of working with and managing large multiomics data sets and familiarity with use and storage of human omics data types
  • Knowledge and experience of working with statistics in a biological context
