Research Associate for observations of very high energy gamma-rays and beyond with the CTA-LST for the Project "05A202- CTA Cherenkov Telescope Array" - 28 Subsection 3 HmbHG- InstitutionFaculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences, Department of Physics, Institute of Experimental Physics
Start date , fixed for a period of two years (This is a fixed-term contract in accordance with Section 2 of the academic fixed-term labor contract act [Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz, WissZeitVG]).

Responsibilities:
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
Profile:
A university degree in a relevant field.
The successful applicant should have their PhD in hand or be close to finishing their PhD dissertation.
Experience in at least one of the following areas is required:
the simulation of air showers and their detection, calibration, reconstruction and analysis of gamma-ray observations.
