Job Description Summary:

For Grid Solutions, Offshore HVDC represents a key differentiating technology and a central focus for the business, particularly in Europe where Transmission System Operators have very ambitious renewable energy targets.

In that context and for Germany, Grid Solutions is partnering with TenneT, in deploying new HVDC converter stations to bring Offshore Wind energy into Germany and the Netherlands.

In this context, Grid Solutions is looking for a Project Quality Leader Tennet Germany HVDC Project who will be responsible to create Quality Plans, lead the Project Quality Team and overall coordinate the project quality activities with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Establish Standard Quality Plans (PQP)
Adaption and monitoring of project related Quality Plans (PQP), especially under consideration of Offshore specific requirements from public authorities
Continuous improvement of processes applied to the project,
Coordination of project quality activities with unit quality manager,
Auditing and surveillance of subcontractor activities,
Ensure strong interface coordination between all stakeholders
Validation of quality plans from suppliers
Perform RCA and Non conformance management, inclusive of 8D and standard tools DMAIC, 5 why, fishbone, pareto methods
Direct and indirect management of teams both quality and cross functional.
Risk processes (FMEA style methods)
Change management.

Requirements:

Experience of leading quality activities in large EPC Projects
Strong knowledge and experience of processes for ISO9001, ISO21500
Experience and or understanding of ISO15288, ISO45001, ISO14001 would be an advantage
Good level of audit skills both internal and second party audits ISO9001 only.
Strong IT tool usage, Microsoft office, document control systems, nonconformance management systems, SAP, or similar.
Risk processes (FMEA style methods)
Strong leadership and change management skills.
Degree in Engineering discipline or other technical field with relevant and significant experience
Strong communicator and influencer
English is a must, solid German skills would be desirable.
