    The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of automation engineers, enhance our automation framework, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of top-quality software solutions.     What you'll do

  • Automation Strategy: Define and drive a comprehensive automation testing strategy across LN Group, including the ensuring appropriate tools and frameworks are used consistently across the LN Group to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Automation Framework Development: Evolve and maintain automation test frameworks that facilitate continuous testing, integration, and delivery pipelines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 6 automation quality assurance engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Automation Test Planning: Collaborate with delivery managers and engineering teams to create detailed auto. test plans, test cases, and test scripts to meet project requirements.
  • Automation Test Execution: Oversee the execution of automated tests, analyse test results, and report defects in a clear and organized manner, ensuring test execution is efficient and fits within the engineering process.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that software products meet quality standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools and technologies.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, processes, and automation frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, delivery managers, and Product team, to ensure the highest quality of software products.

    • What you bring to the table

  • Strong programming skills in at least one programming language out of Java, C#/.NET or Typescript
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright (highly preferable) or Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
  • Proven experience in automation testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation
  • Solid understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
