As a Data Scientist, you will need to be fluent in all parts of the data ecosystem and their impacts, as well as understand the complexity of the business from both a product and marketing perspective.

Our ultimate goal is to ensure Freeletics becomes a leader in data-driven decision making while growing our business at the same time.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics, in addition to monitoring the integrity and validity of the data reported
  • Work closely with marketing teams to drive datainformed decision making for marketing steering
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis including statistical inference and statistical analysis, run AB tests with the product teams
  • Proactively transfer knowledge and adopt valueadding solutions to stakeholders
  • Present data insights and delivering presentations with the objective of fostering a culture that values datadriven decisionmaking

Your Profile:


  • Master's degree (university) in mathematics, physics, computer science, economics, or any other relevant studies that are strongly quantitative and problemsolving oriented
  • 3+ years professional experience as data scientist within technology space, knowledge of online marketing and digital product funnels preferred
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, experimentation, and regression analysis
  • Excellent data manipulation skills in SQL and proficiency in writing structured Python code for large data sets
  • Experience working with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Amplitude and data visualisation tools like Tableau, Looker or similar
  • Experience working with data warehouse platforms (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)Highly resultsoriented and able to connect science with pragmatic problemsolving
  • A good communicator who can present results in an informative and persuasive manner to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in marketing analytics (user acquisition, marketing attribution, CLV, CAC, ROI models) and product analytics (user journeys (activation, engagement, retention), customer segments, growth models, database modelling and developing ETL pipelines)
  • Excellent at communicating in written and spoken English
