Duties:


  • Represents INSCOM and the Army Cryptologic Operations (ACO) with responsibilities for coordinating mission requirements/opportunities that support Army, INSCOM and Army Tactical Intelligence units.
  • Provides guidance and direction to facilitate the Army?s Modular Forces involvement in, and utilization of, National Systems in support of Army Tactical requirements.
  • Identifies and allocates mission resources and requirements as well as manages the Tactical Overwatch mission strategies that incorporate capabilities of locally assigned Corps and Division level units.
  • Participate in the review, coordination and approval of Tactical Overwatch requirements, concepts and activities for implementation by Tactical Forces.
  • Interface with Senior Officers on a variety of issues affecting National-Tactical Integration of mission priorities and coordinate those requirements with NSA Cryptologic and Operations Centers.
  • Ensure the Army?s Tactical Force, in support of deployed US Forces around the world, is properly trained and enabled to meet all analytic responsibilities and requirements.

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligencescope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a preappointment and periodic basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience which includes providing guidance on Signals Intelligence and/or Cryptologic systems, methodologies, and procedures; teaching SIGINT Courses and developing intelligence training plans; and identifying resources and SIGINT capabilities and requirements necessary to meet mission needs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS12).
  • Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligencerelated research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.

This experience should demonstrate:

Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
