Your Responsibilities:

As a world-wide Software company handling highly sensitive data, our cyber-security is highly important to us - this is where we need you to join our close-knit IT team where you will design, build, implement and support enterprise-class security systems.

In this role, you will make sure our organizational security strategy and infrastructure are aligned with overall business and technology strategy.

You will also identify and communicate current and emerging security threats, so as to sensibilize to possible attempts.

Your role will be to:

Design and implement the Jedox IT security architecture
Monitor security incidents and, if necessary, initiate appropriate countermeasures
Have ownership or participate in securityrelated policies and processes (IT security policy, disaster recovery, incident mgt.)
Advise and analyse IT infrastructure measures and implement software/SaaS solutions
Advise internal stakeholders on security measures and their implementation
Plan and implement pen tests
Validate ongoing IT security solutions

This position is to be filled hybrid in Freiburg im Breisgau or Frankfurt am Main, or Remote in Germany.

Your Profile:

3 years' experience in IT risk management and information security IT security or risk assessment
Strong working knowledge of IT risks, cyber security, and computer operating software
Advanced understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security
Expert knowledge in Microsoft Ecosystem Security
Advanced knowledge in Powershell and Linux
Advanced experience in defending against threats in the public cloud (ideally experienced with K8s)
Deep understanding of IT forensics, existing and emerging attack vectors and translating them into attack prevention
Highly Desirable: Advanced _proven_ skills in ethical hacking (ideally backed by certifications like OSCP, CEH, CISSP)
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Very good English and German skills
