Based in San Francisco with offices in Stuttgart, Germany, Shaper was founded in 2012 with a mission of developing a revolutionary line of computer-augmented power tools, beginning first with a handheld CNC router called Origin.

Today, Shaper supports thousands of woodworkers and craftspeople around the globe with an expanding line up of products from power tools to design software.

Shaper is looking for a Marketing Lead to work directly with Shaper's Head of Marketing. You'll be joining an experienced global marketing team based in San Francisco, New York, and Stuttgart, Germany.


The EU Marketing Lead will manage a small Stuttgart-based marketing team responsible for spreading the word about and localizing Shaper's message across Europe.

Tasks


You'll work on programs like:


  • Channel marketing through our new European dealer locations
  • Marketing through our online stores in Europe
  • Social Media
  • Promotions
  • Shaper's Education Initiative
  • Shaper Ambassadors

Requirements:


About You:


  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Deep understanding of the marketing process from product launch through delivery
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Knowledgeable of the digital advertising process and experience working with digital ad agencies
  • Fully capable of managing smaller campaigns (social media, influencers, contests, etc.) from start to finish
  • Willingness to work across time zones

Experience:


  • 4+ years working in marketing, with at least 2+ years experience working in a product marketing capacity
  • 2+ years experience managing people
  • Deep understanding of social media marketing, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
  • Comfortable working with a website CMS
  • Experience with Google Analytics, with the ability to generate reports and develop key takeaways

Nice to have:


  • Experience working with an international team across time zones
  • A passion for woodworking
  • Experience with digital fabrication
  • Comfortable holding a camera or being in front of the camera
  • Past experience marketing to educators
