Shaper is looking for a Junior Visual Designer to join our global marketing team and help evolve how we present our products and services to customers as we reach new audiences around the world.

This position is based in our Stuttgart, Germany office with some flexibility for remote work. Our Stuttgart office also houses a fully equipped woodworking studio with all of the tools, materials, and support in order to build your own creative projects and furniture

Tasks


The Junior Visual Designer will integrate with other stakeholders throughout the company in order to produce stand-out creative for our marketing website, digital campaigns, and print advertising initiatives.

This position requires strong English language skills and an ability to uphold the Shaper brand through well-crafted design in order to maintain and occasionally evolve the visual identity with care.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 12 years of experience working with an ecommerce brand, product marketing, or relevant experience through a marketing or brand agency
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus. You have a bias toward action and execution
  • A compelling portfolio which demonstrates your design skills across digital and print media
  • A passion for scaling design and brand consistency by evolving our design system and style guides
  • Proficiency with typography, visual layout, and color
  • Interest in illustration and iconography
  • High levels of proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Any experience with After Effects would be a plus
  • Strong English language skills, French language skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills. You're comfortable presenting to both stakeholders and team members
