- Performing Active Directory (AD) administration.
- Configuring and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Architecting and deploying virtualization platforms using VMware technology. Supporting Army and joint level exercises.
- Providing on-site diagnostic and corrective actions.
- Assisting in obtaining and maintaining all related information security documentation to meet continuous monitoring and compliance criteria Authority to Connect (ATC).
- Performing analysis of system operations utilizing various operating systems and database management systems.
- Conducting fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and individual peripheral devices.
- Troubleshooting and rapidly resolving problems with little to no oversight.
- Creating exceptional technical documentation and drawings.
- Security Clearance Required: An Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 2+ years of experience
- Certification: must have a valid DoD IAT II certification; Computing Environment certification or any Microsoft certification.

The Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A) Field Service Representative is responsible for supporting DCGS-A Family of Systems (FoS) server and software integration, systems maintenance, exercise and operational support, and other technical support as required for systems in support of HQ USAREUR-AF-G2 and its subordinate units in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A) Field Service Representative will be responsible for system maintenance and administrative functions including system configuration and modification; adding, removing, and replacing hardware and software items; system startup, shut down, backup and restore; database administration and maintenance; and system user access control.
