Beschreibung

The Hotel Accommodation Team purchases/procures, manages and sells hotel room blocks/allotments for our congresses, conferences and events taking place worldwide.

Depending on the destination, there are different framework conditions, focal points and challenges.

In this position, you are responsible for these hotel room blocks and act as a link between hotels, participants and other K.I.T.

Group divisions.

Tasks

  • Taking care of our national and international hotel projects including sourcing hotels in international destinations, management of deadlines
  • Procurement/contract negotiations, management, and sale of hotel room blocks to groups, individual participants and VIPs
  • Management of incoming payments, issuing invoices as well as payment reminders

Requirements:


  • Successfully completed studies and/or professional training (e.g., tourism/event management) or relevant professional experience
  • 2+ year experience in conference/event/travel industry or hotel industry
  • Procurement / Negotiation skills
  • Strong customer and service orientation as well as strong communication skills
  • Very structured way of working with attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (C1 level) for the support of our national and international clients.
