Position Overview:

Team Description:


The Direct Support Germany team is responsible for Traiding-Floor Support in Germany within the End User Computing area.


The range of services includes 1st/2nd Level Support for applications, replacement of defective devices, provision of new workstations, and rollout of new End User Hardware/Software.


We support all types of End User Hardware such as laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, desk phones, printers, AV technology, as well as other EUC-provided solutions like dbRAS, email, etc.


Job Description:

  • Coordinate small to medium projects
  • Be the point of contact for customers regarding all IT issues
  • Support the team in hardware rollout and advise employees and stakeholders on the team's specific services
  • Handle customer complaints and coordinate resolution with vendors

Professional and Personal Qualifications:

  • Completed education in the field of computer science (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Knowledge of the current End User Hardware product range
  • Experience with specific trading software (Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset)
  • Years of experience in IT support
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in matrix structures
  • Commitment and willingness to regularly delve into new topics
  • Language skills: Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)

The position is offered both full-time and part-time
