About the role

The Senior Events Marketing Specialist position will assist with the planning, budgeting, on-site implementation and post event reporting for primarily based European Automotive internal and external events, including CES.

Create custom experiences for customer-based events at client facilities and at our Karlsbad Automotive Showroom.

Your Team
This position has no direct reports and reports to the Director of Experiential Marketing.

What You Will Do

Provide support on planning and developing B2B event experiences
Build and strengthen senior level relationships through leadership, relationship building and strategic program development
Contribute to the strategic conception, development and implementation of programs that help build the automotive brand and provide a foundation to help drive product business growth
Planning of the design, coordination and implementation for trade shows, sponsorship activities, internal and external automotive based events
Provide onsite support during shows and events
Preparation and layout design of display space and associated properties
Planning and management of the event specific budget, and initiation of appropriate actions to ensure budget compliance and reconciliation
Location scouting and booking
Booking and planning of demos and staff, accommodations, catering, logistics for demovehicles and displays
Creation and distribution of event briefings and post event reporting
Briefing and alignment of the content of marketing activities with internal and external agencies
Coordination / assistance with the development of event associated materials (signage, photography, videos, collateral)
Verification and approval of the deliverables and reconciliation post event
Planning and execution of event KPIs and event surveys, including final reporting
Manage internal and external staff on execution and delivery of programs
Develop appropriate communication to agencies, the Automotive marketing team and cross organization

What You Need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Advertising
68 years of event or project management experience (trade shows, sponsored events, advertising, etc.)
Knowhow and previous experience in event management like trade shows or sponsored events as well as virtual event and/or web/social experience and Automotive experience would be a plus
Ability to adapt to new situations and develop and implement ad hoc solutions
Quick comprehension, flexibility and skills in problem solving
Ability to work under high pressure, as well as a result driven and change oriented personality
Team Player
Excellent communication skills
Good MS-Office knowledge (Power Point, Word and Excel)
Be willing to travel up to 30% domestic and international travel
