- Du setzt die regulatorischen Anforderungen in Bezug auf biomechanische Testungen und Degradationsuntersuchungen von Implantaten um und entwickelst Dich zum Ansprechpartner für Rückfragen in Bezug auf die Degradationseigenschaften von Magnesiumimplantaten u.a. auch innerhalb von Entwicklungsteams.
- Du etablierst statische und dynamische Mechanikprüfungen degradierter oder degradierender Prüfkörper auf Basis gängiger Normen.
- Du konzipierst selbstständig Versuchssetups für Korrosionsprüfungen mit verschiedenen Magnesiumimplantaten zur Ermittlung von Ionen- und Gasfreisetzungsraten sowie dem Masseverlust, führst die jeweiligen (mechanischen) Prüfungen gemäß relevanter Standards durch und kümmerst dich anschließend um eine regulatorisch konforme Dokumentation
- Du ermittelst den Einfluss von Zug- und Druckspannungen auf das Korrosionsverhalten von Implantaten und gibst auf Basis dieser Erkenntnisse Eingaben für Designoptimierungen.
- Du arbeitest selbstständig und zielgerichtet an Problemlösungen und stehst in enger Absprache mit der Konstruktion und stimmst dich mit dem VP F&E/PM.
- Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium oder vergleichbar, wenn möglich mit einem Schwerpunkt in der Materialwissenschaft, Biomedizintechnik oder Maschinenbau
- Materialkenntnisse in Bezug auf den Werkstoff Magnesium und seine technologischen Anwendungen in der Medizintechnik, sowie Grundlagenkenntnisse der elektrochemischen und chemischen Korrosion von Werkstoffen sind von Vorteil.
- Grundlegendes Verständnis von biomechanischen Implantat-Testungen, z.B. Durchführung und Auswertung von Zug- Druck, Torsions- Biege und Scherversuche sowie zyklische Belastungsuntersuchungen
- Gute Kenntnisse in Bereich der Versuchsplanung, der anschließenden statistischen Auswertungen und das Verarbeiten von Ergebnissen und Erkenntnissen zu regulatorisch nutzbaren Reports und Argumentationen
- Hohe Integrationsfähigkeit sowie kooperatives Agieren mit Fachexperten/Innen in angrenzenden Themenbereichen
