Beschreibung

Lead and coordinate all EMC related global activities within the company .

  • Establishing a global team of EMC experts
  • Minimizing risk of design and process validation (DV/PV) through prevalidation
  • Review & consulting of design and system engineers as well as customers and suppliers
  • Product quality assurance

Coordination of EMC operation and management of EMC laboratory

  • Release and review of approvalrelevant test setups and methods (internal and external laboratories)
  • Release and review of validation reports (internal and external laboratories)
  • Planning, setup and quality assurance of the EMC laboratory according to current standards and norms
  • Guidance and coordination of test operations

Training and consulting

  • Technical consulting for customers and other departments in system development and design of electrical and electronic systems with regards to EMC
  • Execution of general EMC trainings for project managers and other departments
  • Conducting special EMC trainings for advanced development engineers
  • Consulting and support in the development of EMCcompliant circuits

Establishment and guidance of the EMC test team

  • Instruction and guidance of test engineers (internal and external) for verification and validation
  • Planning and management of specialist project work for the development of EMC laboratory operations and generic topics
  • Development of EMC test methods according to customer standards
  • Deepening and specialization of existing and new collaborations with local universities

Strategy development and implementation

  • Development of a verification and validation strategy
  • Implementation of the strategy as EMC capabilities leader within the E/E department
  • Creation and maintenance of a GKN test standard for generic validation of electronic components

Essential Qualifications & Experience
Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics or equivalent

  • 5 years Engineering experience in Electronics EMC verification and development
