We're uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud.

Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM:

You will guide and lead a central team of architects (16) coordinating and managing the overall ADAS/AD system
- and software architecture from the use case level down to software interface implementations. You will work with state-of-the-art system and software architecture modelling enthusiasts and ADAS/AD concept experts on a daily basis and lead architecture decisions with relevance on VW-Group level.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Manage and build a team of cross functional system and software architects
Lead definition of architecture concepts in the early analysis phase
Manage architecture artefacts with MBSE on different levels of architecture: functional, logical and physical architecture management
Drive architecture decisions
Interface to VW-Group brands and projects within CARIAD and the VW-Group
Technical coordination of overarching topics
Product ownership of MBSE method and model

WHO YOU ARE:

Degree in the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable course of studies
Several years of leadership experience in ADAS system development
Enthusiastic about the automotive industry and technology
Deep understanding of ADAS architectural design and system components
Proven MBSE background, experience with rolling out new methods and tools
Proactive, supportive, structured, solutionoriented and able to bring experience and methodological knowledge into a new organization
Experience in working as part of agile teams
Excellent English language skills, profound German language skills
