Deine Aufgaben:

At StoryMachine, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Data Scientist (m/w/d) to join our team.

In this role, you will play a vital role in collecting, extracting, and managing social media data, as well as deriving valuable insights to provide recommendations and strategies for our editors and clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about data analysis, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

You collect, extract, and manage social media data using various tools and techniques.
You identify topics, patterns, and insights from the collected data to provide valuable recommendations and strategies for editors and clients.
You create comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards with visually appealing data visualizations.
You collaborate closely with the editorial team to incorporate data into content development processes.
You independently procure and analyze social media data to uncover meaningful insights.
You serve as a point of contact for the Data Team regarding Data Science tasks.
You maintain and optimize dynamic dashboards and reports

Du bringst mit:

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field or have completed a coding or data science bootcamp
You can be an entry level support
Strong proficiency in Python, including knowledge of relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks and SciKit-Learning
Professional in English. German is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and creatively.
Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
