To meet the permanently increasing test challenges of modern semiconductors, we continuously enhance our existing V93000 semiconductor test platform with new test solutions enabled through complex ASIC's, FPGAs, and dedicated instrument HW and SW Modules.

In your role as
V93000 R&D System Architect, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders and domain experts to understand the technical requirements of new test solutions and determine how to best implement these into the existing system architecture.

You will lead V93000 Platform's architectural evolution to prepare our Test platform for future needs and keep pace with upcoming trends in semiconductor test.

In your role you will drive far reaching V93k Platform decisions and directly report into Business Unit Management.

You will work with various project teams in a distributed development environment to ensure consistent design structures and use of common building blocks across the organization to maintain architectural platform integrity moving forward.

Responsibilities include

Ensure Architectural integrity and longterm maintainability and manufacturability of the V93000 platform.
Technically lead an architectural team of experts of various technical domains
Consult worldwide Project teams to map technical requirements into appropriate HWinstrument designs, comprising HW, FPGA and Testprocessor aspects
Closely work together with SW Architecture team to shape System architecture
Drive common architectural standards and effective reuse across the R&D organization to increase the development

Requirements:

Must Qualification

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven and longterm system architect experience in complex HW/SW systems
Longterm, practical experience in working in complex systems and systemthinking
Excellent communication skills (cross hierarchy levels, crossfunctional, crosscultural)
Ability to communicate own ideas clearly and present complex issues in a simple and understandable way.
Provide strong leadership and mediation between different development teams
Proven project Management skills and ability to lead cross functional teams
Ability to simplify essential complexity without introducing accidental complexity

Want Qualification

Deep understanding of V93000 design and architecture in HW (incl. Test processor) and HW-Layer SW
Good understanding of the semiconductor test market and related challenges
Technological foresight, master new technologies and follow upcoming trends in the semiconductor industry
Effective network and recognition in the industry
