- Derive and consolidate the product requirements for the TraveoTM and PSoCTM product families and based on marketing inputs, application assumptions, and stakeholder requirements
- Propose a scalable and competitive product architecture , and own the product feature set together with your peers in the architecture team
- Define and conduct feasibility studies ; evaluate solutions with regard to the impact on cost, performance, power and the usability in software
- Technically guide a community of component architects, designers, physical implementation and verification engineers to ensure feature and performance fulfillment and also efficient physical implementation of the proposed solutions
- Pro-actively drive innovation in the area of microcontroller platform and SoC architecture based on profound understanding of future product needs and industry trends
- Focus specifically on our TraveoTM and PSoCTM product families in superior low power and low leakage capabilities, ultra-low cost solutions, and application-specific extensions for PSoCTM, such as sensing and actuating functions, and high-voltage capability This position is suitable for full- or part-time.You have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company, you constantly gain new insights by questioning existing assumptions and you inspire others for your ideas explaining even complex issues in a clear and convincing manner. - A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in technical roles in the area of SoC architecture and/or product design
- Profound understanding of microcontroller architectures and their key components such as CPUs, memories incl. embedded NVM, low power concepts, communication interfaces, mixed-signal functions and peripherals
- Good understanding of external components incl. bill-of-material aspects
- Basic understanding of product development aspects in pre- and post-Silicon areas
- Experience with architecture exploration and Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) estimation for cost-optimal development
- Ability to understand platform development trade-offs and negotiate with different stakeholders
- Functional Safety and Security experience is a plus ( experience with
development according to ISO26262 or ISO21434) - Automotive domain knowledge is an essential plus in terms of
microcontroller and processor architectures for automotive applications - Professional self-organization and leadership skills
- Excellent technical leadership capabilities combined with good communication skills
- The ability to work in cross-functional teams and in a multi-cultural environment
- Fluent English communication is a must; German is appreciated
