automotive Human-Machine Interfaces? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our HMI section at Honda R&D Europe (Deutschland) GmbH as an intern/ working student.

Background

Honda R&D Europe (Deutschland) GmbH, located in Offenbach, is a renowned research and development center dedicated to pushing the boundaries of automotive innovation.

The HMI section plays a pivotal role in designing and developing new interfaces that enhance the interaction between drivers, passengers, and vehicles.

As an intern/ working student in this section, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of skilled professionals, gaining hands-on experience in developing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for future Honda vehicles.

This activity offers a unique chance to contribute to the advancement of automotive
technology while being part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization like Honda.

Target

This position will allow you to gain hands-on experience in Unity development, web development, UX design, UX research, benchmarking car usability, and prototyping new concepts.

You should meet the following requirements:

Currently enrolled as a student in a field such as Human-Computer Interaction or Interactive Media Design
Preferred familiarity with tools like Unity, git, Blender, C#, Web technologies like svelte or similar tech
A solid grasp of key principles and methodologies in software development. This includes understanding concepts such as version control, debugging, software architecture, testing methodologies and programming languages
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required
Strong communication and teamwork abilities are vital for collaborating effectively with our team
