We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join an established tech company based in Berlin.

Being the sole lawyer in a SME, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice and support to the whole organisation with the support of external counsel.

You will work closely with the business and senior executives, managing a range of legal topics (IT, IP, Commercial, Competition, Data Protection, Employment, etc) - we aren't looking for someone that has had exposure to all of these areas, just an appetite to get involved

Tasks

Serve as the main legal contact person, providing expertise and guidance on a wide range of legal questions and matters.
Independently advise the management, C-Level executives, and all departments on legal issues.
Focus on IT, IP, ecommerce, contract, competition, trademark, copyright, corporate, labor, and data protection law.
Utilize external expertise when needed to handle unfamiliar topics.
Evaluate facts and develop pragmatic solutions, considering legal frameworks and risks.
Actively participate in crossfunctional teams and projects, supporting different areas of the company.
Coordinate cooperation with reputable law firms and the company's data protection officer.

Requirements:
