    Summary

    This position is focused on implementing products based on defined architecture and specifications, particularly in medical accessories such as tube sets for insufflators and pumps.

    Responsibilities

    • Define and document system design based on provided architecture and platform development, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Analyze external/internal stakeholder requirements.
    • Select and map customer requirements to existing solutions, coordinating with stakeholders as needed.
    • Identify features to integrate and create feature requests when necessary.
    • Lead the technical implementation of new product features as reusable components.
    • Create product-specific system specifications.
    • Coordinate technical solutions across departments.
    • Manage technical project components and provide content support for associated work packages.
    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
    • Manage product-specific risk and verification plans.
    • Lead equipment and hose set constructions.
    • Oversee product transfer to production.
    • Review and approve assembly instructions.
    • Conduct standard tests on devices and tube sets.
    • Support manufacturing processes and provide technical assistance during production.
    • Control material and BOM creation/management.
    • Ensure technical approval of products by customers.
    • Act as the technical point of contact for customers.

    General Tasks

    • Adhere strictly to quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Implement instructions from quality/environmental management and occupational safety specialists.

    Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

    • Training/Education:
      • Dipl.-Ing./Master of Electrical Engineering/ Medical Technology/ Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering/ Biology or equivalent
    • Technical Requirements Profile:
      • Several years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
      • Knowledge of mechanics, sterility, and biocompatibility.
      • Experience in Design to Cost.
      • Understanding of manufacturing processes for sterile tubing sets.
      • Proficiency in requirements definition and management.
      • Verification procedures knowledge.
      • Experience in product transfer to production.
      • Familiarity with relevant standards.
      • Proficiency in English & German (at least B2).
      • SAP knowledge desirable.

    Travel Requirements

    • Willingness to travel to various locations and engage with business contacts.
