In a research project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) a scientific position is available in the working group of Prof.

Lambert Alff (Technical University of Darmstadt) for the next possible date as a

Research Assistant/Ph.
D.

Student (all genders) -"Strain and doping study of lead-free antiferroelectric thin films" - 75 %:

The position is limited to three years. The focus is on investigating a new materials class for sustainable energy storage and power electronics.

Requirements:

Highly motivated applicants with a completed scientific university degree (Master/Diploma) in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or a comparable field should have a sound knowledge of solid state physics.

Previous experience and practice in the field of materials science and technology as well as vacuum technology and thin film synthesis methods are advantageous.

Communication skills are a requirement for interdisciplinary work in an international team (in English, spoken and written).
