Duties:


  • The Human intelligence (HUMINT) Coordinator will plan, organize, coordinate, and execute Military Source Operations (MOS) in support of Combatant Command and national objectives.
  • Employs every aspect of HUMINT collection operations to debrief friendly forces. Civilians, and liaison activities within agency.
  • Assesses the foreign intelligence reliability of HUMINT sources for intelligence contributions.

Conditions of Employment:


  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligencescope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a preappointment and periodic basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
  • Position may require employee to wear uniform and/or protective clothing.
  • Will be expected to live in field or austere conditions.
  • May be required to work irregular shifts/hours.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 10% or less of the time.
  • This position is considered Non-Combat Essential (NCE) in support of the Army?s mobilization and wartime mission during periods of increased tension and mobilization and could be assigned to any location worldwide.

  • In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GG/GS[12] that prepared you to do this job. Specialize experience is defined and experience which includes intelligence operations, collections, and requirements directly related to Human Intelligence (HUMINT). This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.
  • Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligencerelated research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.

This experience should demonstrate:

Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.


  • You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

  • Production and Analysis
  • Researching
