Main responsibilities and duties:


His / her main missions are:

Business process and Data management:

  • Analyze business processes in FCM and related data sources in order to find business cases for digitalization
  • Generate daily/ monthly and other reporting for Supply Chain Divison based on all available data
  • Create / define and defend business cases to optimize and automatize all types of reporting under the rule of minimum maintenance and maximum visbility
  • Liaise and coordinate multiple external and internal partners of supply chain digitalization/ visualization projects on Divison, Cluster or Plant level
  • Report project statuses to the management of FCM and his / her manager
  • To update all the standards in place for the related plants (digitalization, automation) and their adequate diffusion within the plants (including documentation / instruction), as preferred contact point of PC&L improvements and PC&L projects network.
  • The lead and the enrichement of the PC&L productivity portfolio
  • Focus on the budget build in cooperation with Division management with the target to standardize the activities for future budget standards

Inventory management:

  • Review and monitor actions plan with PC&L plant team to achieve inevntory targets
  • Manage the inventory budget process (Data collection, Budget preparation) with the PC&L Division management
  • Manage the inventory forecasts monthly process and the inventory targets definition
  • Manage and participate in major projects impacting the cash of the division

Team Management

  • Coordinate teams of internal and external contributers, namely Cluster PCL manager, Plant PCL manager, software developers, IT & supply chain specialists
  • Guide, support and lead crossfunctional teams for ontime delivery of their respective workpackages.
  • Consolidate and validate the quality of the individual deliverables within the workpackages.

Main tasks in projects

  • Discover business cases for inventory improvement to achieve and improve inventory budget
  • Develop specifications and project plans for AI projects for supply chain in cooperation with his / her manager
  • Present project plans and progress regularly to Sen. management (incl. meaningful KPIs)
  • The proper implementation on time of all the standards and best practices related to supply chain management of the divison, as a project leader, under the Supply Chain Systems & Improvement Manager priority guidance, for serial life but also for new standards, as a support,
  • Coordinate and follow up on all external partners involved in his / her projets
  • Be the technical interface / representative to all internal customers for his / her projects

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Engineering / Science / Supply Chain or equivalent; in exceptional cases a BSc plus particular work experience will be adequate
  • Min 2 years of automotive background
  • Ideally work experience in Data Mining / Artificial Intelligence or Statistics as well as Supply Chain

Skills and competencies:


  • High personal affinity to IT topics, namely data science and / or artificial intelligence
  • Very strong willingness and ability to learn autonomously and together with the team (e.g. statistics, data analysis, machine learning techniques, etc.) so that these skills can be used in real projects fast
  • Technical understanding of product and process in Supply Chain
  • Broad project management skills
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Strong English mandatory

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Ability to work in networks
